Ceramic artist Alice Hohenberg Federico draws inspiration from ancient Greek ceramic arts, traditional Japanese techniques, and modern English pottery to create sensuous sculptural vessels. Her rounded vases feature elaborate handles, highlighting the contrast between the functionality and delicacy of her work. Returning for a Reunion exhibition, Federico graduated from Hollins in 1967. Her work has been exhibited worldwide. Hours are Tuesday - Friday 10 am to 4 pm; Saturday 1-5 pm. Through September 15.
