"In the Event of Andy Warhol" is the conclusion of a three-part exhibition featuring gifts from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. To commemorate their 20th anniversary, the Andy Warhol Foundation donated nearly 30,000 of Warhol's Polaroids and black and white prints to more than 180 educational institutions across the country, including Staniar Gallery at Washington and Lee University, Olin Hall Galleries at Roanoke College, and the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum. In this final edition of the three-part exhibition, the Wilson Museum pairs selections from the photographic legacy gift with work by Warhol's contemporaries as well as examples by artists who inspired him. Through September 15. Hours are Tuesday - Friday, 10 am to 4 pm; Saturday 1-5 pm.
