Faux practices intellectual property, entertainment, art, and business/commercial law. His past and present clients include individuals and organizations involved in the fashion, sports and fitness, fine arts, photography, and graphic design industries. In addition to his private practice, he serves as director of business affairs at the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc. Prior to becoming an attorney, Faux spent several years as a music journalist and, then, a publicist in the Northwest. He holds both a master of science and master of arts degree. He also spent a year in South Korea as a Fulbright Scholar. He is the cochair of the Fashion Law Committee for the New York State Bar Association's Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Committee.
