Each Monday night on the Waldron Stage of Mill Mountain Theatre, the Playwright's Lab at Hollins presents a talk by a prominent working professional theatre artist. This week’s guest is Joseph Craig who has more than 20 years of experience in entertainment marketing and market research. He started his career at Blockbuster Video before moving on to Paramount Pictures and The National Research Group (NRG), a division of Nielsen Entertainment that conducts market research for the major Hollywood studios. In 2003 he formed NRGi to bring market research to independent filmmakers and Broadway producers, and in 2008 co-partnered with Entertainment Research and Marketing (ERm), which specializes in market research and consulting for film, Broadway, and off-Broadway theatrical productions.
