A major posthumous exhibition honoring artists in Southwestern, Virginia who shaped our artistic landscape today. The artists represented highlight the very best of our community from the 1800s to the very recent past. Working in a variety of media, their work exemplifies the rich and fertile ground that we call home.
Legacies: Honoring Artistic Luminaries from Southwestern Virginia is curated by Amy Moorefield, Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Collections, Taubman Museum of Art. The exhibition will be on view August 27, 2016 – January 22, 2017 in the Special Exhibition Gallery.
