Local musician Jason Springs is performing live at the Oak Tree Tavern Friday, July 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy craft beers, wine and cocktails, tasty food and amazing music to combine for an unforgettable evening at VIRginia International Raceway.
Springs is a folk/country songwriter who has been performing for around five years. He is currently working on his first solo album, which features acoustic music inspired by real life experiences and honest and thought-provoking lyrics.
This is just a glimpse into the live music and excitement that VIR will be bringing to the community throughout the next two months. Friday nights in July will each feature a different live musician. Ray Martin will be performing July 22 and Chris Fisher will be playing July 29.
Additionally, VIR is hosting the Michelin GT Challenge and entire IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship weekend, Aug. 26 to 28. The series features top racing professionals, nationally and globally, hitting the track in the most technologically advanced race cars, from Lamborghini to Corvette to BMW. For music fans, the race weekend will also include an exciting onsite concert.
