It’s difficult for kids to avoid stress in today’s world. Unfortunately, too much of it can lead to emotional and physical difficulties. But there is a solution, backed by science, that provides relief: Mindfulness. In this workshop, open to students and/or their parents, you will learn exactly what “mindfulness” is and how it works as a simple yet powerful way to reduce stress and create resilience. The only way to develop mindfulness skills is through practice, so this workshop will be a mixture of lecture and experiential learning.
