In its search for truth, science often finds beauty as well. The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute’s Spring 2014 art exhibition will explore the intertwining of science and art.
All are welcome to attend the opening reception of this free exhibition, which is the eighth in a series sponsored by the Creativity in Health Education Program of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. As part of the evening’s program, Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute neuroscientists will give brief gallery talks on both the art of science and the science of art. In addition, an exhibit of art and stories created by participants in the Art Fusion Program of the Central and Western Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will be featured.
Free parking is available in the lot across Riverside Circle. For more information, contact Chio Tisdell at 540-526-2571 or email@example.com.
