The Taubman Museum of Art is hosting its newest fundraiser Urban Spaces | Urban Tastes on Saturday, April 11, giving participants the opportunity to experience the sights and flavors of Roanoke.
The day kicks off with Urban Spaces- a self-directed walking tour. Ticket holders will get an exclusive look at some of the most uniquely customized properties downtown which include: an art gallery/studio, five homes, and three businesses. The last stop of the tour is the museum’s newest urban space- the Sculpture Garden.
Beginning at noon in the Sculpture Garden all are invited to Urban Tastes- a food truck festival featuring a variety of local cuisine options, the craft beers of Parkway Brewery, and blues music by the Gabe Morales Trio.
Urban Spaces: An Exclusive Tour of Artistic Downtown Living runs 10am to 1pm, includes a $10 food/beer voucher and free entrance to Urban Tastes, $50 per person.
