Race for Every Child
On Saturday, October 20 at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC, Children’s National will host the annual Race for Every Child 5K run/walk and Kids Dash. Whether you’re a family member supporting the kids in your community; a serious runner competing to take home the USATF-certified 5K winner’s trophy; or a weekend jogger looking to get some exercise with friends, the Race for Every Child is an event for everyone in the community. The Race unites the community around a common vision: to help children grow up stronger.
Children’s National is the region’s only health systems that’s solely focused on children, and the Race for Every Child is a run/walk with a purpose: to save and improve children’s lives. The nonprofit hospital relies on funds raised through the Race for Every Child to expand programs, develop new therapies and cures, and ensure the same level of world-class care for every child in need, regardless of ability to pay.
