Keynote address by visiting scholar Jill P. May. She is the author of numerous works of scholarship in children's literature, including "Exploring Culturally Diverse Literature for Children and Adolescents: Learning to Listen in New Ways" and "James Barrie's Pirates: Peter Pan's Place in Pirate History and Lore" in "James Barrie's Peter Pan In and Out of Time." With her husband Robert E. May, she is the author of "Howard Pyle: Imagining an American School of Art." The Mays will be on campus during the following week.
