Olswanger is the founder of Olswanger Literary in New York. She has been a literary agent since 2005 when she joined Liza Dawson Associates. In 2014 she founded Olswanger Literary, where she represents picture books (author-illustrators only), middle grade fiction, and adult nonfiction. She is the author of <em>Shlemiel Crooks</em>, a Sydney Taylor Honor Book, Koret International Jewish Book Award Finalist, and PJ Library Book, and the just-published <em>Greenhorn</em>.
