Hollins is joining with Senator Mark Warner, the Virginia Tech Roanoke Center, the Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the City of Roanoke to host the Virginia Women's Conference on Saturday, October 13 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. The conference will offer tools to transform lives, careers, and communities, and will feature two outstanding speakers: Marie Wilson, founder of The White House Project and author of "Closing the Leadership Gap: Add Women, Change Everything," and Toni Blackman, artist, U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassador, and 2012 DOVE Soap Real Women Role Model.
