ALABAMA's 50th Anniversary Tour
Salem Civic Center 1001 Roanoke Boulevard, Salem, Virginia 24153
It has been 50 years since Randy Owen, Jeff Cook and Teddy Gentry, left the cotton farms of Fort Payne, Alabama, to spend the summer playing music in a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina bar called The Bowery. It is a classic American tale of rags to riches. The band members somehow rose from their humble beginning of picking cotton to become international stars. Alabama has sold 80 million albums and changed the face and sound of country music in the process and are now coming to Salem for a special show on Thursday, March 14th at 7:00 pm.
Tickets for this show go on sale November 30th at 10:00 am at the Salem Civic Center Box Office (Monday – Friday: 10 am – 6 pm and Saturday: 10 am – 2 pm), by phone at 800-745-3000 or at www.ticketmaster.com/event/01005574E7F6A773
