Author Darcey Steinke, who lived in Roanoke for some of her childhood, launches her newest novel, “Sister Golden Hair,” which is set in Roanoke in the 1970s. Steinke lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., and is a lecturer in creative writing at Princeton University. She has written other books, including a memoir “Easter Everywhere,” and novels, “Milk,” “Jesus Saves,” “Suicide Blonde” and “Up Through the Water.” For more information about Steinke, visit http://www.darceysteinke.com.
