Fleda A. Ring Artworks is proud to present a community arts project sponsored by Little Green Hive: “Pareidolia” by Dave Stein and “Ephemerality” by Jeni S. Benos.
Dave Stein’s subversive and colorful paintings act as a “visual voice for our environment” and explore the consequences of large scale human actions. His works express “both exuberant wonder as well as deep disturbance at the juxtaposition of life’s sublime beauties and humanity’s darkest ugliness.”
Jeni S. Benos’ photographs offer glimpses of “nature overtaking”. Her meticulously crafted works “can be perceived in a great variety of ways. What may appear creepy and unsettling to one individual may be viewed as nostalgic and warm to another.”
There will be a reception at Fleda A. Ring Artworks on October 7th from 6 pm to 10 pm to celebrate this exhibit, in conjunction with the opening night of new works by renowned local artists Dreama Kattenbraker and Ann Glover.
