Dr. Robert P. George is McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University and the founder and director of the university’s James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions. He also is a professor of politics and an associated faculty member of the Department of Philosophy at Princeton. He is the author and co-author of numerous books and articles on constitutional theory and practice.
He is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Harvard Law School. He holds a master’s degree in theology from Harvard University and a doctorate in philosophy from Oxford University.
George also is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
