Need a way to start this important conversation? We’ll help you prepare. Join us for a special panel discussion bringing together the medical, legal, and faith communities to examine end-of-life care and decisions. Sponsored by Carilion Clinic Hospice and Good Samaritan Hospice, the discussion will be moderated by Karen McNew, anchor and health team leader at WSLS 10.
The event will cover a range of topics, including an overview of hospice and palliative care, advance directives, and the emotional and spiritual aspects of end-of-life care.
The evening begins with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by the moderated discussion at 6:30. It is free and open to the public.
