Race for Open Space

Race for Open Space celebrates its sixth annual event. This charity race raises funds to promote land conservation. Our course begins at the first parking lot in Green Hill Park. All participants will follow the Roanoke River Greenway to the Tulip Tree trail and then onto a grassy field to the finish line. 5K racers will pass by the finish line and do a second inner loop mostly on gravel and grass back to the finish line. The routes for the 3K and 5K can be found on-line.
