The Ice Cream Man rings with honesty, authenticity, humor and poignancy. Continuing with RCT’s mission to use theatre to educate parents and teens about issues they are facing, this play follows the lives of high school students caught in the larger web of school, parties, pressures and the ever-present temptation of drugs and alcohol. Workshops following the productions help students understand the themes of the play while exploring ways to avoid the dangers of substance abuse.
