Wine was a “necessary of life” for Mr. Jefferson. Join thousands of like-minded oenophiles at Mr. Jefferson’s secluded Bedford County plantation to celebrate his vision for Virginia wine and to taste wines created by some of Virginia’s finest vineyards at the annual Thomas Jefferson Wine Festival. The Thomas Jefferson Wine Festival is held inside large, heated tents on the south lawn, rain or shine. Because this is an adult event, there are no children’s activities scheduled. Outside food and drink are not allowed. With the exception of service dogs, pets are prohibited. Admission is Adults $25 in advance, $30 at the door; non-tasting tickets are $10 in advance and at the door.
