Winter Concert: Each February, Tru Sol Band from Myrtle Beach performs at The Woodland Place. This ticketed event includes the concert, dinner and dancing.

Senior Expo: Held at the end of March at the Vinton War Memorial, the expo features vendor booths (such as retirement communities, banks and financial planners), demonstrations, informative talks and more.

Vinton Dogwood Festival: The late-April festival features five days of fun with carnival activities, music, food and more.

Vinton Wine & Food Festival: Close to a dozen Virginia wineries, food vendors and more fill the front lawn of the War Memorial. Other activities include musical performances, wine seminars and food demonstrations.

Farmers Market Events: June through September, the farmers market comes alive with Mingle at the Market featuring music by local bands; Art Markets and Craft Shows to showcase local artisans; and Shake, Bake & Sprout, a fun workshop for kids.

Vinton Chamber Golf Tournament: This fundraising event is held each September at various golf courses throughout the area.

Vinton Fall Festival/5K Run: Vendors, children’s activities, entertainment on two stages, food and more are highlights of this October event.

Trick-or-Treating: On Halloween, downtown businesses open their doors for children to trick-or-treat.

Vinton Christmas Parade: Floats, bands and, of course, Santa help kick of the holiday season in December.

New Year’s Eve Gala: A reservation-only event to ring in the New Year is held at the Vinton War Memorial.

13th Annual Four on the 4th Race Takes Place in Vinton
