New Year’s Resolution

Need a visual to get your New Year’s resolution firmly in mind and off to a great start? If so, you might not do better than Kevin McGarry and Stephanie Willoughby, whose workout regimen includes not just the classes she teaches at Gold’s Gym, but also two days a week of the highly demanding CrossFit program. McGarry says his secret to sticking with their overall program is, in a word, Stephanie: “She’s just in amazing shape, and I try to keep up.”

The couple met in the gym, have known each other for years, and a September wedding is planned, in Roanoke. And what about New Year’s resolutions for two people who clearly have the fitness fully under control? “Maybe eat a little better,” McGarry says. “We both have a bit of a weakness for sweets.”
