A region-wide event returns to cheerlead your favorite restaurants with special menus and pricing.

Calling all foodies: Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge Restaurant Week returns September 12–20. The second annual event is a time to indulge in special menus, seek exclusive promotions, and experience unique dining at participating restaurants across the Roanoke Region.
Restaurants from the cities of Roanoke and Salem, the towns of Vinton, Rocky Mount, and Boones Mill, and the counties of Botetourt, Franklin, and Roanoke will take part in the metro mountain celebration. From upscale dining to neighborhood favorites, participating venues will showcase the diverse flavors that make our region a growing destination for food enthusiasts.
“More than 70 restaurants participated in the inaugural VBR Restaurant Week, and we received overwhelmingly positive feedback,” said Kathryn Lucas, Director of Public Relations at Visit VBR. “The regional format gave restaurants the opportunity to get in front of a larger audience and demonstrated that our region is stronger together.”
Restaurant Week is designed to encourage diners to discover new eateries while supporting locally owned businesses that make our region special.
With the 2026 event right around the corner, the community is encouraged to come hungry, invite your favorite people to share a table with, and spread the word to your out-of-town community.
“Restaurant Week provides a great excuse to catch up with a friend or colleague, create an intentional date night, or simply have a memorable family meal,” Lucas continued.
