We are seeking an Account Executive to join the advertising sales team. Position responsibilities include actively seeking new business, consulting on advertising opportunities, closing sales and managing accounts on an ongoing basis.

  • Strong listening, networking and relationship-building skills with all levels of in order to quickly build successful and revenue-generating client relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation and consultative sales skills via email, phone, face-to-face, in-person and electronic presentations
  • Ability and eagerness to meet a business’s needs with innovative advertising solutions both print and digital
  • Dedicated to continual improvement of sales performance via education, research on competitive environment, interest and research into the changing advertising landscape and creation of new products to fill a need in the marketplace
  • Excel at prospecting and aggressively seeking new business while building and sustaining long-lasting relationships, as well as developing new business opportunities with existing clientele
  • Self-motivated and enjoying a deadline-driven, collegial and entrepreneurial culture with strong in-house support
  • Knowledge of and daily use of sales management software and databases as a key tool to leverage successful revenue generation
  • Multi-media advertising experience a plus, including realms of print, radio, digital, programmatic, event sponsorship or other client-focused sales, including retail
  • Basic requirements, Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of work experience, ability to travel locally, driver’s license, car
