From the Nomination: “Zach Toth is extremely hard-working and dedicated to growing all of his businesses. Benny's has also moved onto franchising and is expected to explode next year. Golden Cactus is doing great despite opening in times of COVID. He sold his real estate company Old Dominion Holdings last year but is still heavily involved in commercial real estate in Roanoke and several other cities. He is able to adapt to whatever is thrown at him and keeps a sense of humor about him that makes him a joy to work with which is probably why he is able to partner with other market influencers so easily.”
What do you love about Roanoke?
Toth: “The city has become a powerhouse, not only in southwestern Virginia, but also the state. The growth potential is unlimited as the area continues to add from people leaving bigger cities. This pairs perfectly with the activities, festivals, restaurants and retail that Roanoke provides to raise a family. Roanoke's ability to maintain a small town feel while offering the amenities of a larger city will continue to draw people in.”
How does your passion impact our community?
Toth: “Benny's was started with the desire to be part of renovating downtowns and bringing excitement to buildings that have been overlooked. We continue to focus on finding properties that can be revitalized. The passion extends into partnerships with other local entrepreneurs that have great ideas and are wanting to team up to develop a vision.”
