Dickens
It seems everyone had a great time at Dickens!Dickens of a Christmas is a fabulous way for Roanokers to get into the holiday spirit. We're proud to have such a great annual event in our city from Downtown Roanoke, Inc. and this year really kicked off in style.
With hosts like Mayor David Bowers and WSLS anchor Jay Warren, creative vendors selling gifts on the Market Square, dressed up volunteers who walked straight off the page of the classic Dickens novel, horse-drawn carriage rides and more, how could one not get excited for the Christmas season?
Be sure to take a look through our Christmas slideshow, as well as revisit any of these photos on our Facebook fan page.
For those interested in volunteering for the next Dickens event (still 2 more weekends to go!), you can sign up here. See you next week at the Christmas Parade!
