The FACES of Support for People with Disabilities

enCircle/Minnick Schools

At enCircle, the mission is to make the world a more loving place. With 650 staff and caregivers, they educate students in Minnick Schools who need additional support and empower people with developmental disabilities through various community-based services. These efforts are vital for the survival and well-being of people with special needs in the Roanoke area.

EnCircle stands out in the industry for providing support that can significantly change someone’s life. Minnick Schools offer social skills groups and individualized support to students with emotional and learning disabilities, enabling them to successfully return to their home public schools or transition to life after school. All programs focus on quality care with the goal of supporting meaningful life experiences for people with disabilities.

The incredible support at enCircle impacts over 1,500 people daily, with staff acting as mentors and friends to help individuals attain their goals while ensuring their health, safety and medical needs are met. When a new way to support the community is found, enCircle expands its services to include more people.

EnCircle has 100 years of experience and compassion. Focused on the present yet proud of its history of service, enCircle has adapted to the changing needs of the community since 1888. They believe everyone deserves an abundant life full of meaning and purpose, and their circle is wide, inclusive of all.
