Thomas Vinopal, 21 / Client Coordinator, Joe Kraft Team / Lichtenstein Rowan, Realtors

A transplant from Los Angeles, California, Thomas Vinopal is a licensed real estate agent in Virginia and one of the first points of contact for those reaching out to the Joe Kraft team. Described as a hard-working, ethical and ambitious individual, Vinopal is someone who “makes you feel like family.” He is constantly helping clients, from video walk-throughs and answering inquiries at all hours of the day or night. Vinopal enjoys Roanoke’s charm, finding that when he moved here, it “felt like everyone knew his family for 40 years!” Along with the socialization, he found a kindness here he loves, and it pushes him to help the community. He attends several community mixers and often helps clients move into their homes, or compiles recommendations and referrals for those new to the area. “I believe my passion impacts the community of Roanoke by letting me share what it is all about,” he says. “As being one of the first spokespersons of our Roanoke Valley that people meet when considering a move, I want to share with them … the kindness and honesty that really brought the positive connotation you think of when you hear the word community.”

  • A licensed real estate agent in Virginia and integral part of the Joe Kraft team
  • Currently a buyer’s assistant on Zillow

From the Nominations: “A young ambitious, hard-working, energetic, full of ambition young man, this young man has the personality to meet people of all ages. He strives to succeed. His ability to work with people, ambition and eagerness to succeed, always willing to help people in need, A thoughtful person who goes the extra mile to make someone happy. I have never met such an ambitious young man, truly one-of-a-kind. Vinopal is a hard-working, ethical real estate agent that goes above and beyond to help his clients. … This is more than just a career for this young man, you can tell just with meeting him. He makes you feel like family. Vinopal enjoys meeting with clients and being attentive to all of their real estate needs and questions. He also is a good person to give out recommendations for places to try or if you need referrals for anything. … He’s constantly on the phone doing video walk-throughs of properties, or answering any question a potential buyer may have. … He doesn’t just work 9-5. He’s constantly networking and making people feel like they are the most important clients he has.

What do you love about Roanoke?

Vinopal: “I love being an ambassador for Roanoke by informing people about the sense of community, quality of life and all of the amazing outdoor activities right in our backyard. People who don’t live here are not going to immediately know what Roanoke has to offer. I feel like it is my job as an educated Realtor, not only to sell homes, but to sell why Roanoke is such a great place to live, work and play. I want to be generous and share with my clients the same way Joe Kraft did with my family when we moved here. Being honest and informative about Roanoke helps my clients achieve their real estate goals. I come from the very busy city of Los Angeles, where people do not have the time out of their day to socialize. When I came here, it felt like everyone knew my family for 40 years! I love talking to people and really sharing the kindness I was not able to share back in California.”

How does your passion impact our community?

Vinopal: “I believe my passion impacts the community of Roanoke by letting me share what Roanoke is all about. As being one of the first spokesperson of our Roanoke Valley that people meet when considering a move, I want to share with them the same as Joe Kraft did with my family when we decided to move. He gave us the kindness and honesty that really brought the positive connotation you think of when you hear the word community. And I think that has such an impact on people as they meet the Joe Kraft Team and ultimately pick Roanoke to move to.”
