Clarity Vet Consulting Launches in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. — July 6, 2026 — A new specialized veterinary service, Clarity Vet Consulting, has officially launched in the Roanoke Valley, marking the region’s first practice exclusively dedicated to pet palliative care, hospice care, and in-home euthanasia services. Founded by Dr. Carrie Turnbull, a veterinarian with more than 20 years of experience, Clarity Vet Consulting aims to bring comfort to pets and clarity to families during one of the most challenging chapters of pet ownership.

Recognizing a profound community need for gentle, end-of-life care within the comfort of a pet’s familiar surroundings, Dr. Turnbull established the mobile practice to offer a peaceful, stress-free alternative to traditional clinic settings. Clarity Vet Consulting focuses entirely on supportive care, helping families navigate quality-of-life assessments, pain management, and compassionate final goodbyes.

“At Clarity Vet Consulting, we believe every goodbye deserves peace, compassion, and understanding,” said Dr. Turnbull. “After two decades in general practice, I recognized a deep need for dedicated, gentle, in-home care. My mission is to bring a calm presence and clear communication directly to families’ homes, ensuring each pet’s passing is as peaceful and dignified as their life was loved.”

Crucially, Clarity Vet Consulting is not a general veterinary practice; Dr. Turnbull exclusively supports end-of-life care. Rather than replacing a pet’s regular medical team, she works directly and collaboratively with her clients’ primary care veterinarians as needed. This partnership ensures a seamless, transparent continuation of care throughout the pet’s hospice or palliative journey.

Prior to founding Clarity Vet Consulting, Dr. Turnbull built lasting relationships rooted in trust and empathy as the owner of a thriving private practice where she cared for dogs, cats, and pet pigs. Her extensive background allows her to offer specialized expertise in pain management and quality-of-life counseling, ensuring families feel fully guided and supported.

Clarity Vet Consulting is now accepting appointments and serving families throughout the Roanoke Valley region. To learn more about their services, review quality-of-life resources, or request a consultation, visit www.clarityvetconsulting.com or call (540) 251-4306.
