Winston is a very special guy! He may be the only cat of his kind that you will ever see. Winston has a tortoiseshell coat, but he is a male. A male tortoiseshell is so rare; it is almost the stuff of urban legend.
The Roanoke Valley SPCA veterinarian has been working as a shelter vet most of her career, and this is the first one she has ever seen! Winston is just over a year old, and is a little shy from all the attention he is getting here. He can’t understand what all the fuss is about. He just wants to snuggle in to a nice cozy spot by the window, and enjoy a quiet life away from the paparazzi.
Winston also has a unique scar on his eye from a past injury, but it doesn’t seem to affect his vision. This handsome boy has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
