Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival Gallery

Did you get to enjoy wine on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival?

This year 27 wineries participated as well as 85 food and craft vendors. Winemakers were on hand to answer wine-related questions and assist guests with their sampling. You could even take a bottle (or three) home with you! Polychrome and Dragonfly provided musical entertainment on Saturday, while Sunday’s festivities featured The Kings.

“I’ve been to several wine festivals in Chicago and New England and this one was one of the best,” said Steve Beyer, ticketholder. “There were great vendors and music, plus it was easy to walk around and try out different wines. It was a lot of fun!”

Funds raised from the festival went directly to the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce.

We hope everyone had a great time – judging by the gallery, it looks like lots of people did! Be sure to check through our photos and see if we caught you on camera becoming a wine connoisseur!
