Blue Ridge Vascular Opens in Roanoke, Bringing Advanced Minimally Invasive Care to Southwest Virginia

Patients in Roanoke and throughout Southwest Virginia now have a new option for advanced vascular and endovascular care with the opening of Blue Ridge Vascular, an independently owned endovascular practice offering evaluation, diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment in a modern outpatient setting.

Founded by vascular surgeon and interventional radiologist Dr. Joshua Adams, Blue Ridge Vascular was created to provide coordinated, patient-centered care for people with conditions related to their blood vessels. Dr. Adams is able to perform many treatments in the practice’s modern outpatient Angiography Suite using hospital-level technology, allowing patients to receive advanced endovascular treatment within one convenient location.

“Our goal is to help patients receive the care they need in a comfortable, highly specialized setting,” said Dr. Adams. “We built Blue Ridge Vascular around the belief that advanced technology should enhance the patient experience, not replace the human connection. Every decision we make is centered on helping patients understand their condition, feel confident in their treatment plan and return to living their lives as quickly as possible.

Blue Ridge Vascular specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of arterial disease, venous disease and complex vascular disorders. The practice also offers advanced, minimally invasive treatments for enlarged prostates, uterine fibroids, varicoceles, pelvic congestion syndrome, Nutcracker syndrome, May-Thurner syndrome and other musculoskeletal inflammatory conditions that traditionally required more invasive surgery or hospital-based treatment.

By combining rare dual expertise in vascular surgery and interventional radiology, Dr. Adams provides comprehensive care for a broad range of vascular conditions while offering minimally invasive treatment options whenever appropriate. The practice is designed to make advanced vascular care more accessible, more coordinated and more personal for patients across the region.
