Our New Publication – bridebook

bridebook

Leisure Publishing (THE ROANOKER, BLUE RIDGE COUNTRY) is proud to announce their newest (and sparkliest!) publication, bridebook.

A brand new wedding guide publication for couples in the Roanoke, VA area, bridebook is a resource guide for local brides-to-be. We’re showing off the very best Roanoke has to offer, from photographers and venues to caterers, florists, and more. Our exclusive wedding registry pages will feature local brides and grooms, where their wedding spread will inspire other brides, commemorate your day, and make them a model in our magazine for years to come.

Whether you’re traditional, modern, or even a little quirky, bridebook is a perfect resource for every lucky girl!

We’re accepting submissions from 2012 brides who are interested in being in the first ever issue. After we close submissions on Feb. 1, the editorial and art departments will go over all entries and choose approximately 25-30 lucky brides, who will be notified on Valentine’s Day.

There is no cost to submit your wedding. If selected to be in our publication, there is a small production fee, but we’ve made sure to keep the costs minimal and very comparable to newspaper announcement prices – in fact, you’re getting an entire 1 -2 color pages of a publication that will be out on newsstands for an entire year, as opposed to a smaller announcement that will be gone the next day.

bridebook will debut in May 2013, along with that May/June issue of The Roanoker. Afterwards, bridebook will be free on news racks in different places in the city at various wedding vendor locations. Selected brides will receive 10 copies of the first issue to proudly hand out to their friends and family. Just be warned, they’re going to treat you like the model you are!

Interested in being in our publication and perhaps even making our cover? You can find out how to submit your wedding here – we can’t wait to see your beautiful day!

You can keep up with bridebook on Facebook, Twitter, or our very favorite, Pinterest!
