2022 FACES of Virginia's Blue Ridge
How do you define Roanoke, Virginia? We’re known for our excellent health care systems, booming real estate development and economic growth, and more recently, our incredible outdoor opportunities, of course, but we’re so much more than that. If you ask us—or anyone in the region, really!—Roanoke is clearly defined by its supportive community and the incredible people in it.
It’s the business owners who work tirelessly to encourage growth and togetherness; the customers who shop, eat and buy local to support their neighbors; and the employees who help with everything in between; not to mention the photographers, dedicated social media managers, creative artists and others who help build what we see today—they are what make Roanoke, Virginia unlike any other place in the world (and the best, if we’re allowed to be biased here!).
We are so pleased to showcase our first-ever FACES of Virginia’s Blue Ridge! As a special publication of The Roanoker Magazine, it made sense for us to work with local business owners to spotlight their incredible work in the region and their industries. We are honored to share their stories and allow you to get to know them better in their profiles linked below.
Our first FACES highlights the individuals and groups who lead the way in their industries with their innovation, inspiration and commitment, not only to their work, but to the community as a whole. Every one of them works diligently to provide the best possible services to our citizens, and to make Virginia’s Blue Ridge a recognized, welcoming community always greeting others with arms wide open. They recognize growth and opportunity, welcome success and strive to further their knowledge and community impact.
Get to know the FACES behind the businesses you know and love, and learn more about their passion for the region and all they do to show it. We’re proud to recognize these incredible Roanokers and continue strengthening our community by bringing everyone together to make our city just a little bit brighter than the day before.
